You buy the voucher and the recipient can then book their place on a scheduled day sail of their choice by emailing info@thalatta.org.uk and quoting the voucher reference number. It’s a great gift for someone who’d love to spend a day sailing a beautifully restored, historic sailing barge on the Rivers Orwell and Stour in Suffolk.

A Day Sail Gift Voucher is £70 for an adult, and £50 for a child (aged 10–14). All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Each Day Sail is limited to 12 guests which means that everyone can be actively involved in all aspects of working the vessel from sail handling to steering. Alternatively just sit and watch the beautiful rivers Orwell and Stour pass quietly by. A delicious, home-cooked, sit-down lunch will be provided in the main hold as well as many cups of tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits served on deck throughout the day.
Departure will be from Ipswich Haven Marina around 9.30am and we will return around 4.30pm(ish).
